Historically the sync function (I use Dropbox) has been poor at best. Often the phone sleeps before the sync can be completed so sync fails. Recently sync crashes the app. Im on iOS 9.1.

Im feeling on top of my kids allowances for the first time. The interface is clunky, but once I figured it out, it became really useful.

I had trouble with the initial syncing of multiple devices and the developer promptly emailed a fix which worked great. I love that the kids can see their accounts but that they cant easily add extra funds for themselves.

This is a very good customizable app. I like the fact that my nanny and I can share it across devices. It is a pain to get all set up but once it is, it works pretty effortlessly. Im glad I only have two kids to set up. Totally worth the small fee I paid.

I need an app that all 3 of my kids can use and I can monitor. This one doesnt sync well and I cant get it to change my options. It just keeps getting stuck in sync cycles where I cant do anything.

I live this app.

I had several questions initially setting this up and they stuck with me through several messages and screen shot to get it just the way I wanted.

I have two sons who are 12 & 10. We have been using this app for a long time and it works great. It holds the kids to great accountability. At Christmas I updated to a new phone and was having difficulties getting info to transfer. Even though it was the holidays I received an answer to my problem extremely quickly. So glad we use this app.

Works great across multiple devices and with multiple kids(5). Could use a better option for labeling additional categories. Overall, solid app.

This is a great app to help kids become responsible about chores and saving money. Lots of options to customize the chores and banks to your familys needs. I run into a couple of sync problems and received excellent costumer service. Jim responded promptly and in detail to help me fix the issue. Very pleased with the app.

We have been giving our daughter physical allowance for a year. But wed frequently forget, the money jars would get mixed up or wed be out and she didnt know how much she actually had at home. This app has changed our allowance experience completely!

Ive been looking at a way to manage our kids allowances and I finally found something that gives me everything I need to do it. This app simply rocks! Not only is the app exactly what I needed, but the customer service is absolutely fantastic! And you can tell the app developer really cares about his customers too. This is the best app for dealing with kids allowances as well as dishing out demerits when needed. I especially love how I can use time as a reward when they complete chores instead of just money.

His individual support exceeds expectations! iAllowance has been an epic success in managing allowance, spending, and bank accounts for three kids. The new-and-improved syncing works like a champ so all family members see real-time data. Its the Apps created by individual Developers like Jim that make this model such a success; Im a proud supporter.

Weve used this app for several years and love it. Every time I find a problem the bug is fixed in a future update. Our favorite part is the automatic allowance. Its so helpful for us, because we dont deal with much cash and therefore dont remember to give money to our children. Set up took some time and at one point I needed another set of eyes to complete it.

I use this with my 7 year old and he looks forward to it every day!

Great app. Set up automatic allowances and Gift money received from family. Now kids can ask to make purchases based on allowance bank balances or save for next big item. Once had problem with app, wrote to developer who replied quickly and resolved issue with new build So many other features not even writing about. Very happy with app.

We needed a solution for our allowance method. We used to use poker chips and baggies for four kids. Needless to say it was time consuming and inefficient. This app automates the payments and keeps 3 separate accounts for our four kids up to date consistency. Its really well done! Worth every penny.

This app is a standout in the genre. It provides both power and flexibility to fit whatever chore/rewards system that suits your family. I would consider that we are power users and push the app to its very limits. Even so, it performs beautifully! I give this app my highest recommendation. Its well worth it!

With three kids and never having cash on hand made keeping allowances straight was a constant puzzle. I love that it keeps track of the allowances even if you havent logged in for a few weeks. The crediting and debiting of the kids accounts make it easy to keep track of the kids balances. They often will open the app to see how much they have. I have it set up to deposit 10% into share, 25% into savings and the remaining 65% into spend. Its great.
